And it is somewhat understandable: the beauty of the place is just breathtaking so it is little surprise that it is also one of the most photographed beaches around the globe. Anse Source d’Argent is located on the North coast of the stunning La Digue Island, the 3rd largest island of the Seychelles. The cluster of 155 islands scattered in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean lies to the northeast of Madagascar, some 1600km (1000mi) off the western coast of Africa. Considered an absolute tropical heaven, the Seychelles are one of the world's most sought-after touristic destination.

Once on Mahé, it is just about an hour boat ride to get to La Digue Island, which lies 40 miles from there. From La Passewharf, you can get a bike or an oxcart and head to L’Union Estate, where a short footpath will lead you to the heavenly Anse Source d’Argent Beach. As it is part of a National Park, visitors have to pay a small entrance fee to access the beach. No need to mention it is definitely worth it…
