Siesta Beach is a wide expanse of pure, clean, soft white sand stretching on 5 km (about 3 mi) along Siesta Key’s west coast. The beach is particularly famous for the quality of its “quartz sand”, an incredibly pristine, powdery-fine sand which is often considered as the whitest and finest in the world. The water is just as amazing: crystal clear and warm, it is suitable for a wide range of activities.

Siesta Beach lies on Siesta Key Island, about 90km (55mi) south of Tampa and 410km (255mi) northwest of Miami.
by road Siesta Key Island can be reached by two concrete bridges, one at the northern tip of the island and the other towards the southern end. Drive along Beach Rd until you get to Siesta Beach parking area.
